The researcher gathers complete information on the history of the public
place or private residence that ParaPatrol investigates. They do this through use of the library, local historical society,
contacting current and past owners, internet, etc. Background information may be used to identify the cause of paranormal
activity in the location.

The researcher must be able to devote the time necessary to perform a complete history
independent from the team.

The researcher is expected to be able to separate fact from legend when researching
locations.

The researcher is expected to gather this information either before the investigation
or within 2 weeks after the investigation, in time for the Reveal to the client.

The researcher may work with the team's graphic specialist and secretary to put
material in presentable format.

The researcher is a member of ParaPatrol.
